WHAT: A Pride masquerade ball, produced by NYC’s legendary special event creator/producer, Lee Chappell, with his wunderkind wiz Chris Ryan, celebrating New York’s own bizarre brand of baroque glam.

International DJ’s/Producers Hector Fonseca and Alyson Calagna provide the music that will keep you dancing from start to finish…while costumed performance artists, acrobats, stilt walkers and Butoh performers, Venetian Style Masked Boys and Extravagant Drag Queens enhance the event with Interactive Video Projections by the Award Winning duo of Wet Circuit… Baroque style decor will accentuate the opulent feel, pulling you deeper into the fantasy of DESIRE.

Epic/Sony recording artist, Oh Land ~ makes her American debut after capturing the charts in Europe with her new Smash Single “Sun of a Gun!” while an Extravagant Runway Fashion Show ensues and frames Oh Land like a living painting.

Since DESIRE is actually a Masquerade event there will be an Audience Reaction Based Costume Contest for Best Costume…and since NYC is known for it’s extravagance and fashion, our Drag Diva Emcees Shequida and Sybil Bruncheon will have their hands full handing out the $500 Cash Prize!

For a change in atmosphere head upstairs to “Dances of Vice” a Jazz Age /New Wave…frolic of a good time that harkins back to Bath Tub Gin, Burlesque and indescribable decadence!!! Shien Lee and Muffinhead produce the special event within an event and offer Grandpa Musselman and His Syncopators (the cutest darn musicians you’ve ever seen) playing live Vintage Jazz interspersed with New Wave/Glam & Disco…
